Resonix RGD Series Refrigerant Leak Detection Sensor
Sensata Technologies announced the launch of the Sensata Resonix RGD sensor, the first leak detection sensor with UL certification for multiple A2L refrigerant gases used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. The new leak detection sensors support HVAC manufacturers’ transition to refrigerants with a lower global warming impact. Sensata’s Resonix RGD sensors leverage patented gas detection technology to meet the needs of HVAC manufacturers using new hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerants as part of a global shift away from hydro-fluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. HFC gases have been widely used in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for decades due to their performance characteristics. However, HFC gases have a high global warming potential (GWP) – often hundreds of times more potent than carbon dioxide (CO2).

Hyatt Place Miami Airport’s management struggled to identify unauthorized smoking and enforce the hotel’s no-smoking policies when guests complained of nearby smoking. Aircuity’s cleanroom application delivers precise multi-parameter IAQ measurement to enable adaptive airflow in cleanrooms of ISO 7 and 8. The platform dynamically adjusts air change rates based on continuously monitored particle levels. Airflow is optimized when particle levels are low and increased as levels rise to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Cleanrooms are the most energy intensive spaces per square foot in the built environment.
Three-screw rotary pump technology for transformer ester and mineral oil purification service
The IMO 3-screw design excels under low/vacuum inlet pressures and provides enhanced reliability and longevity. The pumps are available in the 3D and 3E series for transfer/circulation of transformer insulating oil. Series 3D pumps, available in 19 different displacements, incorporate full hydraulic balance that cancels axial and radial thrust loads due to discharge pressure.
