Designed to blend seamlessly into the ceiling, the DRD5S 8-inch LED surface-mount downlight extends only 0.6 inches below the ceiling plane to minimize its visual profile. Packed with technical breakthroughs, the ultra-thin DRD5S 8-inch downlight matches the elegance and performance of a high-end recessed downlightwith a specialized lens that transmits clear, beautiful light with a subtle diffusion – all at an affordable price.

The all-in-one DRD5S was engineered from the ground up. From its highly efficient light engine and cutting-edge optoelectronic design to its simple snap-in installation process, the performance and versatility allows it to work with more applications, including those with limited plenum space. Simply put, the DRD5S combines the best aspects of recessed lighting and surface mounts into one remarkably small package.

The surface downlights feature 90+ CRI and produces up to 1500 lumens while delivering pure, smooth illumination that transforms spaces while disappearing into them. A proprietary driver provides smooth dimming down to 1% and optional integrated test switch is available for emergency lighting.

When paired with the SurfaceFrame^™, the DRD5S installs into just 2″ of plenum space and meets the requirements of the most demanding environment.
